Whats the relation of density to the experiment w/hair dryer and pingpong ball?

please help me. we need this for our project. the pingpong ball floats. but with lower pressure, there is lower density of the air. how can the ball float if it's now denser than the air below it? thanks.

this is the experiment..

it can because the hairdryer is pushing air upwards to keep it floating.air outside keeps the pingpong from running away while air from underneath keeps it floating.
