The main reason could be the circuit break of On/Off button with the control panel of your dryer, go to some electrician or if you have DIY tools then open the screws and find the reason and fix it, and if it is in warranty go to the shop from where you purchased it, they will surely fix this issue.Hair dryer is not turning off until i pull the plug.. what could be wrong n how to fix it?

the contacts inside the on/off switch have welded theirselves together.sometimes it is possible to disassemble and lightly file the contact points.this will remedy the welded switch for awhile.carbon builds up on the contacts,creating high resistance.when the resistance gets to high, the flow of electricity jumps or arcs and heats the contact surfaces making them bond together.if the switch is a sealed switch do not attemp to repair it.replacement switches are available through electronic suppliers like http://digikey.com
most hair dryers ive seen have a simple unsealed switch.if you attempt this easy enough job,make double sure it is unplugged.
