I hope so, I did it last night! lol
I don't see a problem
Just be sure it doesn't get too hot for them :]Is it ok to use a regular hair dryer to dry a dog?
Yeah, unless he/she doesn't like it. Also, it's good not to go too close with it near their faces or other sensitive parts. Is it ok to use a regular hair dryer to dry a dog?
yes but of you do do not use the heat setting you will scald the skin....and if you move the hair with your hand back and forth it will dry faster..
Yes, as long as you don't set the temperature too high. If the dog will tolerate the noise, then keep it on a medium or low setting to keep his skin from getting too hot, and he'll be fine.
Yeah why not,I do, all I want is for them to be dry but I adjust the heat though!!!!
Yes! I use it on my dogs all the time. Just make sure you have it on warm %26amp; move it around alot. If you rub the dog's coat as you dry it, not only will it help it to dry faster but you'll be able to feel how hot it is getting.
yes, but please be sure that the setting is on low, also be sure and keep the dryer moving, so that you do not harm your pet.
god bless you.

yes, but do not get too close close to the skin, for the obviouse reason of burning
you can but dont put it too close.. it mite take a while to do this with a regular one tho..careful b/c u can burn the dog
That should'nt be a problem. Just make sure it's not too hot.
Yes, my groomer uses a regular one. Stop if the dog yelps!
If the dog isn't afraid of the noise, and you don't keep it too close to the dog for too long as to burn him, yea, it's safe.
Yes, I use one on my Shih tzu. Just dry not to use too much high heat, it may dry their skin out.
it is but use it only with help from another person. Only use it on long haired dogs. if you have a short haired or smoothed haired dog use a towel to rub the dog dry
If the dog will let you
yes
yes
yes, but my dogs prefer a nice manicure or facial to a blow dry any day
yes
I have. Just don't get it too close to the dog, and keep in mind some dogs don't like that and may get aggressive.
Sure it is, make sure you don't scare him/her to death.
My dog was scared of a hair dryer.
It's ok but not the best idea. You need a dryer specially made to use on dogs.
If you do use your own hair dryer, keep it as far away from the dog as possible and just let it air dry more than heat dry. Dogs can't take that much heat.
ya
yeah
yea, not too close, I towel dry, and let her curl up in front of the fire place in her bed.
Yes, I do it with my dog, but be careful on how close you get to your dog with it because they can get really hot close up.
yes
Yeah just put the ';heat setting'; on low. Their nose and eyes are very sensitive to heat. It will take a little longer but your pooch will appreciate it.
Use it on low heat so it doesn't burn them.
Yes, it is, he might be afraid of the sound though.
Turn on the hair dryer to a medium setting, testing the heat with your fingers. Aim first for the thickest hair, running your fingers or a comb through it until it is just slightly damp. Keep the hair dryer approximately 6 inches from the skin to prevent burning and overdrying.
