distilled water since it has no electrical conducting ions present unlike salt water which has sodium and chloride present.If a hair dryer (plugged in) is in a bathtub. Would you rather have it filled with distilled or salt water?

Salt water if you are trying to electrocute yourself but keep in mind that most outlets have built-in fuses and if you fill the tub and throw in the hairdryer it will most likely just short the circuit. First of all, you need a constant source of electricity and you also need something that uses more juice (like a microwave).
I think the most important question here is ';why is there an outlet in the bathtub?';
Depends what outcome you desire....
Salt water conducts electricity better
Well, if you are trying to electrocute yourself, definitely the salt water.
