there is but the battery cell is about the size of a family motor!Is there such a thing as a cordless hair dryer?
yes, there is such a thing as a cordless portable hair dryer. It is gas and 4 x AA Alkaline powered and we have just started to import it to the uk. It is the ONLY one available on the market. Not to be confused with those awful 12v things. This is a wonderful product

sorry, I spent about five to ten minutes yahoo'ing one up and couldn't find it =( I'm sure if a product IS indeed available it wouldn't be very efficient because it wouldnt have as many watts.

That would mean it would probably have to be battery and it would use a lot of power.

Ya theres battery powered but if you have thick hair then stick to the one with the cord because that would use a lot of battery power. If you have thin hair then cordless would be fine! Hope I helped!!
