Does a hair dryer contain any major pieces of aluminum in any of its parts because I want to scrap it if I can?

is there anything in the inside of the a hair dryer that is aluminum? if so whatDoes a hair dryer contain any major pieces of aluminum in any of its parts because I want to scrap it if I can?
Not likely. You'll find nichrome in the heating element, copper in the wiring and blower motor, and plastic nearly everywhere else. But toss it into a recycle bin so others can recycle its components. It would cost you more to get to a recycler than they would pay you for any materials.Does a hair dryer contain any major pieces of aluminum in any of its parts because I want to scrap it if I can?
When I go to the hair dryer store, there are about 5 to 10 models. When you think about how long hair dryers have been around, you can safely assume that there have been over 100 models of hair dryers. Undoubtedly one of those had something that was aluminum. And many probably have nothing that is aluminum. So there is no way for me to know if your hair dryer has aluminum in it. But aluminum is not generally used for electrical purposes in consumer products, so if your hair dryer does have aluminum, it is probably a structural component. But the only possibly way to find out is to take it apart. But I would guess the copper in it will be more valuable.
Well I most certainly have to give you kudos for that question! I do not have an answer for you, sorry but I am sure you will get an informed answer soon.
