Well, Silicone are much comfier, however because of the ridges on the latex caps, they often keep more water out. Yet, silicone caps still work, they still allow some water in. So for comfiness, silicone, but latex for dryness.What cap keeps your hair dryer: Sillicone or latex?

silicone usually slides right off my head. I do latex, but if you're swimming laps, there's no way to keep your hair completely dry.
silicon... neither have kept my hair dry though because i always had to wet my hair and the cap to keep them from pulling my hair but hope that helps
Well, I love my latex clothing. But, silicone will probably last longer in a pool like environment...
