Hair dryer verses hair straightener: Which one is better and quicker when short on time?

When your hair is wet, go for the hair straightener, but make sure your hair is a little bit dry first,it is much easier it straightens so fast. If you have to use the blow dryer first but not the whole time because it will get frizzy. With the blow dryer , you have to use a hair brush and blow it straight, and then it comes out frizzy, i use the straightener every morning and it works like a charm. :] ~ Ariel ~

Remember: Blow dryer, Then straightener.Hair dryer verses hair straightener: Which one is better and quicker when short on time?
if you hair is dry DEFINITELY a straightener (I recommend a conair) but if you hair is wet you might have to blow dry it until it's dry enough to be straightened. It takes a while to straighten your hair with a blow dryer, so if you're short on time try not to get your hair to wet and then you can probably straighten it within 15-20 minutes (depending on how thick it is)

hope that helps : ) Hair dryer verses hair straightener: Which one is better and quicker when short on time?
Hair Dryer and Straightener both have different purposes. If you want to dry your hair in short span of time, then obvious choice is the Hair Dryer. Whereas, if you would like to straighten your hair then use the Hair Straightener. A Dryer would take around 5-7 minutes to dry hair whereas a Straightener might need anything between 10-15 minutes.
Well, Hair Dryer can take longer but has a full efect and works great if you know how to work it. On the other hand if your hair is dry then use the hair straightener although it is bad for your hair its not too bad and works great. But it is terrible for your hair if you use it wet. So it really all depends if your hair is dry or wet. wet-hair dryer.... dry- hair straightener
If you just came out of the shower and your hair is wet, use a hair blower to blow it out. Then, use a straightener. If you use the straightner first, you might break the straightner because your wet hair. If you hair is dry, use the straightner. It's much quicker than the hair blower.
well your hair usually has to be dry to straightn it but i find that a straightener is alot faster you could even get a wet to straight im not sure how quickly they work but some of my friends sware by them
Blow Dryer!!! Hair straighteners work and all but completely damage your hair. Also, if your hair is wet, blow dryers work wonderfully. I suggest that you try with a blow dryer first. Otherwise, you'll just have to experiment.
if your hair is wet then you will need both because the straightener will dry out your hair and ruin it but you could get a hair dryer with a brush or comb attached
Well if you need to get done fast definitely hair dryer...I usually have to dry my hair THEN straighten it.

Just flip your hair over and blow dry it straight with a brush :)
To dry your hair or to straighten your hair? Don't they serve completely different purposes?
Both if your hair is wet.

but if your hair is dry, put in a little straightening serum and straighten your hair in quick layers.
You need both, if you tried straightening wet hair you might have a problem in the form of death by electrocution...
If you have a nice straightner (chi or something like that)straightner definatly
if you have to use just one then the hair dryer.
.
let hair air dry, then straighten it.. i hate using a blow dryer for millions of reasons.
If youre short on time you dont have time to be on Yahoo answers.Start blow drying!
