Not usually but it depends on what is being used to dye your hair.

The reason they put you under the hair dryer when getting your hair colored is to speed up the process... With heat you get faster results.. I believe if you are left too long under the dryer it could cause real damage to your hair ( If its bleach or hair is not covered)..Does going under a hair dryer when getting hair dyed cause more damage?
