My hair dryer died, the reset button doesn't work.?

My hair dryer clunked out on me and I've only had it for about a little over a year. It's a Bedhead Ionic. I plugged it in the other day and pressed the red reset button on the black plug thing but it didn't click. Is my hair dryer dead or can I save it?My hair dryer died, the reset button doesn't work.?
If it doesn't work even after pushing reset and if you have tried other outlets to make sure it is not the outlet that is the problem then I suggest you just go buy a new hair dryer. They don't cost that much.

The most common failure on a hand held hair dryer is the cord. Flexing back and forth when you dry your hair caused the cord to break internally. Buy a new one and make it last by not twisting the cord when you put it away and move the dryer slowly side to side and not rapidly when drying.
