Are you afraid of your hair dryer?

I have a fear of anything electrical that heats stuff up. Hair dryers are one of my biggest fears. I don't like putting loud hot things next to my head. I'm always afraid it will start sparking and catch fire and blow up. That happened to my mom the other day and now I'm really afraid x_XAre you afraid of your hair dryer?
Use a diffuser or the attachment for straitening hair. Make sure you always have a hairdryer that is no more than 2 years old. Doing these two things will make sure your electrical items are up to date with the newest safety back up like ground fault to shut off the hair dryer automatically if there is a problem. The attachments will keep you from ever getting your hair tangled in it.





The only thing that scares me about a hair dryer is being shocked a little bit. I had wet hands - not dripping wet, they hadn't dried all the way when I washed them - I plugged in my dryer and my finger was too close to the outlet and I got a little shock.
