Whats the ';cool blast'; button on my hair dryer for?

apparently, when you're drying your hair, once it's styled how you like it, if you go over it with cool air as well, it helps keep it in place...

Well, the normal setting is hot, the air coming out of it is hot.





Cool Blast means the air shooting out of it is cold.

its for if you feel the air comming out too hott and it hurts, you press it slightly for the air to come out a little cooler and so you dont over heat your blow dryer.
i don't know the reason reason,


but i use it to blow stuff up e.g airbed.


also apparently blowing your hair with cool air helps set it in place.
