Green light flickering inside hair dryer?

I am drying my hair right now and there's a green light that keeps flickering inside of it. Every 30 or so seconds, a green light would flicker inside the hair dryer and I'm not sure if it's hazardous. Is this light dangerous? Should I stop using this hair dryer and buy another one?Green light flickering inside hair dryer?
Has the light always been there?

If it is something that it has just started doing, could it be a spark from opening/closing of an overtemperature protection (heat activated) switch (usually inside the where the air blows over the heating element)?

Sometimes this will happen if there isn't enough air passing over the heating element. Check and see if the screen where the air enters the hair dryer is not plugged with hair, lint, dust etc; clear the area if necessary.

There are so many models and types of hair dryers I can't give specific repairs.Green light flickering inside hair dryer?
Green light depends on the hair dryer It is usually a red light and that is normal and if it gets really bad hot red and that is bad. but I think with new hair dryer the have a thermal stat in them and yes that can be green and then it is fine you also could call the maker of the hair dryer
If I saw a green light flickering inside my blow dryer, the first thing I would do is get rid of it. It would make me nervous to use it.
buy another one!!!! you have dust that is catching on fire!!!
i would, but thats just me.
