Do heat protection sprays really protect the hair when using hair dryer and straighteners?

I've been using hair dryers and straighteners on my hair for years without heat protection products and found my hair was always dry and brittle and i had split ends galore.


Since i started using the heat protection products (Kerastase %26amp; Matrix) i still get split ends but no where near as bad as before and my hair is in MUCH better condition. In my opinion from personal experience, yes they do work.Do heat protection sprays really protect the hair when using hair dryer and straighteners?
